University College School

At this liberal school the emphasis is on self-motivation which some might find a struggle if the self disciple isn’t there. Whilst it may not be regarded as a particularly academic school, it makes up for it in its friendly, unstuffy ethos. It’s very informal; there’s no uniform, there’s lots of hanging out at the sports-hall Costa and the sixth-form centre. Creative might be a better way to describe this school, with famous alumnae including Sir Roger Bannister and Sir Dirk Bogarde. There are endless societies, for every type of pupil.
