Queen Margaret’s

Although girls live in ‘horizontal’ year groups, they are all assigned to one of six ‘vertical’ houses, which enable different year groups to mix and get to know one another. These are the focus for Inter-House competition in sport, games, music, drama and many other. Dance is very popular at Queen Margaret’s, where girls have the opportunity to try out different styles of dancing and have individual or group lessons. Some senior girls even take dance to the highest level and work towards professional standard teaching qualifications, they even offer a dance scholarship.
