Horris Hill

Horris Hill

Horris Hill has a very unique layout to its academic year. Rather than the traditional 3 terms, moving up to the next form each time by age, they teach in 2 block terms, have the same tutor the whole way through their school career and only move on when they are ready, rather than by age. The bond made between student and tutor allows pupils to go very much at their own pace. These are just a couple of the reasons why Horris Hill boys go on to some of the top public schools in the country. Since arrival, Headmaster Giles Tollit has added a new camping den in the woods and introduced sailing and shooting clubs for the boys, while his wife Molly is doing great work with the kitchen garden.
