Caldicott

The sporty boy’s dream. Caldicott has PE lessons every day and sets the bar for prep school cricket and rugby, and is now building a similar reputation for football. The successes do not end with sport – there is also no homework! Despite this, there has been no drop in performance academically, with boys achieving scholarships to

Eton, Radley and Wellington. There are daily coaches to and from London, so the boys can make full use of the beautiful 40 acre grounds without having to become full boarders. (Though it is advised to board from year 6.) Something that has become increasingly popular with the boys is Headmaster Simon Doggart’s wife Antonia’s Household Survival Club, teaching the boys how to iron and sew, something which would have put me in better shape had I learnt young!
