Bedford School

Bedford School

Academic excellence and sport are at the forefront of this esteemed school. Led by newly appointed Headmaster James Hodgson, a previous deputy at Magdalen College, the Bedford School achieves outstanding results year on year with 81.5% achieving A*-B A Level grades last year. Outside, Bedford School excels at many sports, giving particular mention to rugby and cricket, so much so that Bedford can count England cricketer Alistair Cook amongst their alumni. It must be noted also that this school is less of a single-sex option than it used to be with regular teaming up with Bedford Girls’, the two schools join for numerous activities including drama, choir and social events.
