Abberley Hall

Abberley Hall

As of September 2014, a exciting new headmaster (who is also a Abberley ‘old boy’), Will Lockett took over from previous Headmaster John Walker. Continuing in his unique approach, Abberley Hall a very happy environment with a real buzz, and pupils are filled with confidence. The school’s no prep policy is, unsurprisingly, very popular. The flipside to no homework is hour-long lessons, compulsory study of three languages and evening activities. These include design and technology, fishing, horse riding, wall climbing and sleeping in the tree house.

As well as fantastic on-site amenities, Abberley has great facilities further afield – it even owns a chalet in the French Alps (to support the rigorous curriculum filled with French!) and takes the hockey and rugby squads on tour to South Africa.
